Journalists and photographers from Caucasus countries are invited to join free of charge international workshops on reportage and photo reportage from 25 to 31 August in Tserakvi.
We invite journalists, photographers and students of journalism and photography from Armenia, Azerbaijan and Georgia to join the workshops on reportage and photo reportage that will take place in Tserakvi, Marneuli Region, Georgia from 25th to 31th of August. The workshops will include practical learning from experienced international trainers and - together with them - creating the One Caucasus Daily multilingual newspaper during One Caucasus Festival (28-31 August).
The workshops are free of charge, participants of the workshops will be also provided with living space in framework of the One Caucasus Festival premises*

Witold Szabłowski (b. Ostrów Mazowiecka, Poland, 1980) is an award-winning Polish journalist and writer, specialising in Turkish affairs. In 2008, he was the recipient of the Melchior Wankowicz Award (category: Inspiration of the Year). His report on Turkish honour killings, ‘It’s Out of Love, Sister’, received an honorary mention at the Amnesty International competition for the best articles on human rights issues. In 2010, Szablowski received the European Parliament Journalism Award for his reportage ‘Two Bodies Will Wash Ashore Today’, on the problem of illegal immigrants flocking to the European Union. In 2011, The Assassin from Apricot City won the Beata Pawlak Award and was nominated for the NIKE Award, Poland’s most prestigious book award. The book was selected for English PEN’s PEN Translates! Programme.
Jahangir Youssouf is a documentary photographer and a visual artist. He has occupied himself with university education, youth work, car repairing and an amateur interest to welding in an old factory. When the lights from the welding machine had become unbearable for his eyes, he left the factory and became a photographer. His works has been published in various websites and journals. His work focuses on the social and political transformation of the society.
